The Israeli military has announced the start of a new phase in its conflict with Iran, warning that additional attacks could follow in the coming days.
According to the IsraelIsraeli Defense Forces, the latest stage of the military campaign will involve actions that could take the confrontation to another level, although officials declined to disclose specific operational plans.

Officials in Washington also indicated that the offensive could intensify. The United States Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, reportedly said that strikes targeting Iranian interests are expected to increase significantly as the situation develops.
The Israeli military further claimed that it had destroyed an underground bunker previously associated with Iran’s late supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.
Military authorities stated that although the facility was linked to the former Iranian leader, it continued to serve as a strategic location for senior officials within Iran’s leadership structure.
According to the Israeli account of the operation, about 50 fighter jets were deployed to carry out the strike in Tehran, releasing nearly 100 bombs on the target area.
The military explained that the bombardment covered several streets and involved multiple strike points designed to penetrate underground structures.
There was no immediate response from Iranian authorities regarding the reported attack.
Meanwhile, humanitarian concerns are growing in neighbouring Lebanon. The United Nations said nearly 100,000 people have been forced to leave their homes as tensions spread across the region.
The UN also reported that a number of Syrian refugees living in Lebanon had begun returning to their home country as security conditions deteriorate.
In Beirut, the Israeli military has ordered residents to evacuate large sections of the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital.
The Israeli army said the warning became necessary because it is targeting locations where it believes fighters of the Hezbollah are operating.
