As the Muslim community commences the holy month of Ramadan and Christians embark on the sacred season of Lent, Hon. Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), has extended warm greetings and goodwill to the people of Ekiti State and Nigeria.
In a statement, the Honourable said these periods remind us of the importance of faith, sacrifice, humility, and compassion. “I encourage all to use this time to deepen spiritual commitment, strengthen unity, and renew efforts to build a peaceful and just society.
“Let us pray for our nation, support one another, and extend kindness to those in need. Together, we can overcome challenges and advance our collective progress.
“May Almighty Allah accept our fasting and prayers, and may God grant us peace and blessings”.
