Ekiti Commissioner, Adedayo, Emerges Vice Chair of  Nigeria’s Youth and Sports Commissioners’ Forum ….Dedicates victory to Oyebanji, Ekiti youth

Adedayo was elected at the forum’s meeting held in Abuja, on Thursday, where members unanimously adopted him to occupy the coveted position on the strength of his character,  competence and capability.

The Ekiti commissioner was elected alongside his counterpart from Plateau  State,  Hon. Bashir Datti, who is to chair the respectable  forum for the next three years.

The forum also elected other members to fill existing executive vacancies that will drive the body until their tenure expires, including Youth and Sports Commissioner in Delta State, Hon Agbateyiniro Wayinmi Isaac, who is to serve as the Secretary, among others.

Responding to his current status and emergence as the forum’s Vice Chairman, Adedayo dedicates the victory to Governor Biodun Oyebanji , who gave him the leverage to serve as a commissioner in his star-studded cabinet.

The Osun Ekiti born Commissioner,  also hinged his victory to the solid backing he has received from the multifarious youth groups in Ekiti State, thereby catapulting his popularity to the national pedestal.

Adedayo promised that the government of  Governor Oyebanji will continually make huge investment in areas that would build the capacity of Ekiti youth, being the future leaders and pivot on which the socio-economic and political spheres of a country rest and rotate.

Adedayo added: “I am elated for my emergence, which signalled that Ekiti State was being noticed at the national level as one of the states that are prioritising youth  and human capital development policies.

“The fact that Governor Oyebanji places high premium on these two cardinal areas popularized my office and formed a strong basis for me emerging as Vice Chairman among 36 other colleagues .

“Let me appreciate my colleague commissioners for counting me worthy of being elected to occupy this highly venerated position. I won’t betray the confidence reposed in my character, capacity and competence”.
