2027: Osinkolu Promises All-Inclusive Representation As PDP Senatorial Candidate Visits LGAs

Dr. Osinkolu gave the assurance while on a tour of the five Local Government Areas that make up Ekiti North Senatorial District (Moba, Ido/Osi, Ilejemeje, Oye and Ikole).

The PDP candidate expressed dismay over what he described as representation absenteeism, chameleon-like political patronage and electioneering visits by politicians who only come to solicit votes but abandon the electorate after winning elections.

The development, according to Osinkolu, has resulted in the backwardness of the district with the majority of the people living in abject poverty because of the nonchalant attitude of those who have benefited from the votes of constituents. He stressed that the current practice must be stopped by the electorate, adding that the only way to effect the change is by voting the right candidates irrespective of political affiliations.

He commended PDP supporters across the district for their steadfastness, commitment and insightful resolve to work for the success of the party’s candidates across the state, saying the party will no doubt bounce back during the 2027 general elections, especially with a convincing and landslide victory in Ekiti North Senatorial District.

Osinkolu assured that if given the mandate, he will prioritize youth and women empowerment, quality education, improved healthcare delivery, agricultural development and effective legislation that will attract federal presence and bring dividends of democracy to every corner of Ekiti North.

He urged party faithful to remain united and to commence intensive grassroots mobilization ahead of the elections, noting that unity remains the strongest weapon for victory.

The PDP candidate who was given a rousing welcome at different fora across the district also promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by making the welfare of the electorate first in decision making at all times.

PDP leaders and supporters who trooped out to receive the candidate vowed to work hard and remain committed to ensure the success of the candidate, describing Osinkolu’s candidature as a fresh air, good omen and “a good riddance to bad rubbish” of the current ineffective representation.
