A total of 1,660 delegates have been elected across the 332 wards in Osun State ahead of the All Progressives Congress governorship primary scheduled for December 13, 2025.
The delegate election, which took place on Tuesday in all wards, produced five delegates per ward in preparation for the party’s primary on Saturday.

Chairman of the 2025 Osun State Gubernatorial Delegate Congress Committee, Shehu Umaru Dange, announced the outcome on Tuesday night at the APC State Secretariat in Osogbo.
He said the ward congress was conducted successfully and without incident, leading to the emergence of the 1,660 delegates who will participate in the primary.
Dange commended the APC National Working Committee and the party’s leadership in the state for their support, noting that the exercise was peaceful in all wards.
He also appealed to party members in Osun to remain committed to the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
According to him, unity within the party remains essential for strengthening democracy and ensuring continued progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
