The Honourable Member Representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Ojuawo Rufus Adeniyi (AVM Rtd), has congratulated His Excellency, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko on his appointment as Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Ilorin.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Ojuawo rejoiced with Surveyor Aluko, a grassroots politician and thoroughbred professional in building planning and valuation.
“I received the news of your appointment with joy and pleasure from our dear President. It is cheering news to us at the constituency. I say congratulations to you sir. As a thoroughbred professional, your expertise will undoubtedly bear fruit in your new assignment at the University of Ilorin in no distant time. Your commitment, contentment, and discipline in every responsibility before you are credence to your new assignment, which will surely reflect in the administration of the university.”
In a statement by his media team, Hon. Ojuawo wishes His Excellency (Surv.) Aluko a very successful tenure at the University of Ilorin, trusting that his tenure will be effectual at the university.

His Excellency (Surv.) Abiodun Aluko is a native of Ikere Ekiti, former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, and Oluomo of Ikere Ekiti.
