The National Youth Service Corps in conjunction with Yemi Oshe Foundation, recently organised a variety show for the 2024 Batch C stream 1 corps members at the Permanent site of the NYSC orientation camp in Ise/Orun Local Government of Ekiti State.
The event which was put together for fun purposes in addition to several other activities going on in the camp, had ten participants representing each platoon for different games which started with booth lacing as first category
Other games that featured participants include; call to parade, that’s (fastest dressed) which was the second category of the games, and eating/drinking competition as the third category.
It was really a nice time for the corps members as they all came out in their numbers to cheer up the participants.
In his remark, the Head of the representatives of Yemi Oshe Foundation team, Engr Ademola Omotoyinbo, appreciated the management of the Camp for allowing the foundation to sponsor the event and promised more collaborations with Ekiti State chapter of NYSC.
The Coordinator of National Youth Service Corps in the State, Alhaji Rico Abdulhai Sahebu was ably represented by the Deputy Camp Director Mr Bolaji Akeem at the event.
The Head of Social activities in the camp, Alhaja Omosalewa Awe expressed her gratitude to the Foundation for being the sole sponsor of the games and called for more activities from the Foundation subsequently.
