W’CUP QUALIFIERS: Lagos IPMAN, SESC Demand Victory From Eagles To Mark Okumagba’s Birthday  

In a bid to specially celebrate the National President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, (IPMAN) and the national executives of SESC has demanded victory from the Super Eagles in their World Cup Qualifiers match against Lesotho.

Nigeria will take on Lesotho on Thursday, November 16 in their first game of the series at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo which coincides with the birthday of Prince Vincent Okumagba the founder of Super Eagles Supporters Club and top chieftain of IPMAN Lagos.

The two bodies in separate statements issued ahead of the birthday celebration of a scion of the Okumagba family in Delta State, the Secretary General of the SESC, Francis Aguh urged the Super Eagles to record a huge win in their World Cup qualifiers match against Lesotho as a birthday gift to Prince Vincent Okumagba who had done so much in supporting the Nigerian national teams over the years.

Speaking in similar vein, the IPMAN, Lagos Secretary Akeem Balogun in a congratulatory letter issued ahead of the Prince Okumagba’s birthday, appealed to Eagles to gift the MD/CEO of Pixal Petroleum Limited, who is a good member of the IPMAN, Lagos Satellite Depot Ejigbo as his birthday coincides with the World Cup qualifiers match, a good victory.

In the letter reads in part: “Prince Okumagba played an active role in the harmonisation of the two factions in our unit in 2015 to form a united executive, devoid of any form of crisis to date, in fact, our unit is one of the few units in the country devoid of any form of parallel executives because of the efforts in 2015 of which Okumagba played a key role as vice Chairman of one of the factions that signed the MOU of harmonisation of the Executives into one unit.

“Also as President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club of Nigeria, he has helped most of our members by introducing them to the supporters club and ensuring that they follow National Teams to various destinations around the world.”
