The fallout from former governor Nyesom Wike’s political missteps is now impacting his supporters, with recent events culminating in a disturbing attack on innocent individuals.
Led by Ishi Samuel Nwanosike, Chairman of Ikwere Local Government, supporters of Wike targeted Governor Fubara’s media team and allies who were simply enjoying lunch at a restaurant in Wadata Plaza. This unjustified act of violence is deeply troubling.
The reprehensible actions of Wike and his followers have left PDP executives and esteemed members embarrassed and dismayed. Urgent intervention is needed to prevent further chaos, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory, where President Tinubu must exercise his authority to restrain his FCT Minister before the situation escalates.”
