By Our Reporter

A Nigerian court has convicted and sentenced several individuals for terrorism-related offences, including Danbawa Salisu, Modu Ali, and 11 others, with sentences ranging from one year to unspecified terms.

The convictions were handed down by Justice Omotosho and Justice Musa Liman.

In a separate case, Justice Liman ordered the release of Amina Audu, who pleaded guilty to providing logistics to Boko Haram.

Audu, an orphan and mother of eight, was sentenced to one year imprisonment, which was deemed served from her April 8, 2024, arrest date.

The court considered Audu’s circumstances, including the loss of her husband to Boko Haram, in its decision [1].
