The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ekiti State Chapter has described the emergence of the Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele as the Senate Leader at the Upper Chamber as the outcome of his Consistency in Democracy .
NAWOJ stated this in a Congratulatory message to the Senator signed by the Chairperson,Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary,Mrs Adewumi Ademiju.
The women Journalists said “Senator Bamidele has always been at the forefront in channelling positive approach to dividends of democracy for the benefit of Nigerians”
NAWOJ added that “Bamidele has never derailed on concerted efforts and agitations for vibrant democracy to the advantage of Nigerian masses.
“Having such a democrat as the senate leader at this time when the people are seriously facing economic hardship, will witness the promulgation of various legislative steps as panacea to the various crisis”
The Ekiti Women Journalists Congratulated Bamidele with the Prayers to God to give him wisdom and knowledge for success in the new feat.
