The Founder of Yemi Oshe Foundation, Mr Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo has donated food items to the people of Igede-Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Donating the items on Sunday, 16th June, 2024, Omotoyinbo stated that the gesture was necessitated by the current economic hardship to ensure that people of Igede-Ekiti especially the Muslims who are celebrating Eid-El-Kabir are not neglected.
The renowned philanthropist while charging the Muslim adherents on the significance of Eid-El-Kabir, urged the Muslim adherents to be virtuous and live by the doctrines of honesty, sacrifice, obedience and resilience manifested by Prophet Ibrahim, the father of faith.
He admonished them to equally use the occasion of this year Sallah celebration to pray for improved economy of the State and Nigeria as a country saying he believes that with prayer, the current challenges being experienced in the country are surmountable.
In attendance at the occasion were friends, family and several well wishers of the donor, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo.
