A member, representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Olusola Fatoba has called on the residence of Ekiti State to take active part in the ongoing Nationwide continuous voter registration exercise.
He made the call during a media chat that, it is very important for Nigerian citizens who had attained the age of 18 years and above to participate in the registration exercise.
The lawmaker pointed out that the exercise is also an opportunity for citizens to update their data, transfer voter registration to another unit, replace damaged or lost voter card.
According to him, the permanent voter card will enable citizens to vote for candidates of their choice during elections.
The lawmaker therefore appealed to Ekiti people in particular to authenticate their identities with updated PVC to enable them cast their votes for the incumbent Governor, Biodun Oyebanji who is performing excellently well in the State.
Hon. Fatoba urged citizens to make good use of the opportunity to participate in the electoral process ahead of Governorship election in Ekiti State as well as the general election.
