The Divisional Police Headquarters, Oke-ila, on 07/03/2025 at about 11:40hrs, arrested one Olajobi Taiwo 19- year old of Dallimore Street, Ado-Ekiti, for sexually defiling a 15-year old girl alongside his friend who is curently at large.
Investigation revealed that the victim, for the fear of being beaten by her mother for wrong doing, ran away from the house, only to be lured by the two suspects to their room where they both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
The case has been transferred to the Gender Based Violence Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, State Headquarters, Ado-Ekiti, for thorough investigation.
The Command warns citizens to be law abiding and desist from all forms of sexual crimes and other criminal acts as those found wanting will be brought to book accordingly.
