The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has confirmed former National Youth Leader, Sunday Udeh-Okoye, as the party’s National Secretary.
In a statement on Wednesday, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said the decision aligns with the judgment of the Court of Appeal.
The party announced that it would transmit its resolution affirming Udeh-Okoye’s position to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other relevant bodies for official recognition.
The NWC’s decision followed a thorough review of legal documents, including judgments from the High Court of Enugu and the Court of Appeal, as well as legal advice from senior counsels.
PDP commended its members and stakeholders for their loyalty and reaffirmed its commitment to the rule of law, internal stability, and democratic principles.
