Oyo Govt. Affirms High Standard Of Oluyole Expo

While cutting the tape to declare the event open, the Oyo State Gov. Engr Séyi Makinde who was ably represented by the honourable commissioner for Trade, Investment and Cooperatives, Hon. Demola Ójo commended the organisers of the expo, saying what they met surpassed their expectations.

Ojo said the vision is in line with the Oyo state government’s plans to have a standard mega expo in order for people to showcase their brands, potentials, and for the governor to be able to expand trade and investment for a better economic and social lives.

In his words: “This, indeed, is a welcome development. We actually have a benchmark that we set for any organisation or individual that wants to organize a trade fair in Oyo State.

“DJ Semight never disappointed us when we got here as what we met surpassed our set standard. We believe in the experience and capacity of the brain behind this project, which explains why our ministry is fully in support.

“The idea is also in line with the plans of Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration in the state, to have a mega expo where many people can showcase their talents and brands,” said the Commissioner.

In his remarks, The convener of the Expo, Mr. Semiu Adenekan, popularly known as DJ Semight, explained that Oluyole Expo is designed to create memorable experiences that foster community engagement and business growth and unwavering commitment to excellence.

He described the fair as grand exhibition, aims to bring awesome and memorable experiences to all participants. “It’s going to be the longest and most vibrant in the history of expos in Nigeria”. He said.

DJ Semight added that the Expo promises to give revelers, families and fun seekers the time of their lives throughout the 17 days as it will run from December 15th to December 31st.

Some of the participating brands at Oluyole Expo Trade Fair 2023 include MTN, Nigerian Breweries, as well as many other retailers range from food sellers, finger foods, fashion houses, beauty and arts items.
