The Ekiti House of Assembly member (APC – Ido-Osi II), Yomi Ayorinde, has felicitated with Governor Biodun Oyebanji, as the administration delivered on its policies, programmes and projects.
Ayorinde, on Monday in his congratulayory message issued in Usi-Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti, described the administration as coming at God appointed time.
“His performance simply confirmed that his assumption as the governor of the state as a true son of the Fountain of Knowledge and Land of Honour.
“I Congratulate His Excellency on this sterling and dazzling successes. I always knew you could do it, and I’m incredibly proud of you.
“I saw you work so hard everyday to achieve this accomplishment, before you assume the office of the governor, during and even after your involvement in the past administrations in the state, I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more.
“You set an amazing example for those of us that believes in you and your political prowess, leaving is to ensure that you have a smooth administration of the state.
Ayorinde noted that the governor’s efforts had achieved tangible outcomes, saying, “I have no doubt that many of our visionary efforts would continue to deliver outcomes for generations to come.”
Ayorinde, a former board member, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), said, “The administration came to office on the promise of tackling infrastructure decay and developing the economy.
“Against all odds, the administration fulfilled its promises and is bequeathing a solid foundation for fast economic development of Ekiti State.
“As a member of an arm of government, we are conscious of the fact that there may be areas where expectations were not met due to unforeseen circumstances and the realities of the period under review.
“Nevertheless, it is heartwarming to inform you today that whatever it is that the government could not perfect will be handled and perfected in succesive years, we still have 3 years ahead of us to correct whatever is presently missing.”
He said that under the Oyebanji government, several projects became a dream come true, not only for this administration, but also for Ekiti-kete and for generations yet unborn.
According to him, the government embarked on many priority projects, some of which had been completed, while others are ongoing.
He described the governor as an exemplar in traditional and political leadership, saying that, Oyebanji’s contributions to the progress and development of the State are immeasurable and exemplary.
He said: “Our governor,, I rejoice with you as you clock one year in office today.
“Your life of service, your people-oriented leadership and your immense contributions to the progress and development of Ekiti State are exemplary.
“As you mark one year in office, I pray to God to grant you good health and more wisdom to make more impact on humanity.
He enjoined the governor not to relent in seeking the best for humanity, not minding those intimidated by his achievements and increasing popularity.
“On behalf of the people of my constitiency, Ido-Osi constiruency 2, we felicitate with our governor, on the well deserved celebration.
“I therefore want to use this opportunity to commend the governor for keeping to his campaign promises, and not betraying the trust we, electorate reposed in him. We are proud of you,”Ayorinde said.
