Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi, a philanthropist, former banker, and ex-senatorial aspirant for Ekiti North Senatorial District, has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court affirming his election as Governor of Ekiti State.
In a statement issued by the Dare Owolabi Media Office, Otunba Owolabi described the Supreme Court ruling as a defining moment that brings finality to all legal contestations surrounding the governorship election in Ekiti State.
He noted that the judgment transcends a mere legal pronouncement, adding that it is a strong affirmation of the collective will and democratic choice of the people of Ekiti State.
“The verdict of the apex court is a clear endorsement of Governor Oyebanji’s leadership and the overwhelming confidence reposed in him by the electorate,” Otunba Owolabi stated. “It is a triumph for democracy, the rule of law, and the will of the people.”
Otunba Owolabi further commended the Governor for his unwavering commitment to purposeful and inclusive governance. He cited the administration’s strides in infrastructure development, social welfare, and policies aimed at fostering unity and progress across the state.
He reaffirmed his continued support for the Oyebanji administration and expressed readiness to collaborate in advancing the development agenda of Ekiti State.
