A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Oke, who represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, made the announcement in a letter dated April 16, 2025, addressed to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area.
The six-term lawmaker said his decision followed wide consultations with political associates, friends, and family members.
Speaking in a brief telephone interview on Wednesday, Oke confirmed his exit from the party. “I have resigned from the PDP,” he said.
While he did not reveal his next political destination, Oke urged his supporters and loyalists to also leave the PDP and await further directives.
