Residents of Olujoda/Ifelodun community in Ado Ekiti have congratulated Gov Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) on his one year anniversary as Governor of Ekiti State
In a release jointly signed by the community chairman and a secretary, Dr. Aribamikan Collins and Mr. Dele Ajayi, respectively, the community noted with admiration the commitment Mr Governor has demonstrated in the last twelve months to turn the fortune of Ekiti State around for good.
It noted the face-lift BAO has given to Ado-Ekiti, the state capital and his other developmental projects at all the local governments in the state.
According to the release, ‘we are not surprised the understanding BAO has brought to governance in Ekiti State as he has been a grassroots politician who knows what the needs of Ekiti State people are before coming to government.
“Also, as the secretary to the committee that fought for the creation of Ekiti State, he is not in the dark about the vision the founding fathers of the state has for the state.”
The community however pleaded with the Governor not to forget his electoral campaign promises to the community, most especially, the construction of the road linking Olujoda to Covenant Avenue and Moferere Quarters.
While pledging their continued support to the government at all times, the residents prayed for God’s guidance for the Governor so that his shared prosperity vision can be realised.
