The Founder of Yemi Oshe Foundation, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, has promised his continued support for the development of Igede-Ekiti, the Headquarters of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Omotoyinbo made the promise during the 2024 Igede-Ekiti Day Celebration held on Saturday, 26th October, 2024, where he was honoured following his various contributions to the development of humanity and communities across Ekiti State.
Noting that Omotoyinbo’s passion for both the youths and elderly especially in the town cannot be overemphasized, the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru 11, therefore thought it wise to honour the renowned philanthropist and a generous donor as he was conferred with the honour of humanitarian award.
“I have been noticing your goodwill gestures since when you came to donate working tools for the less privileged youths of the town aside your support for widows and contributions towards sporting activities”. Said the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti.
Considering the honour as an additional feather to his cap, Omotoyinbo appreciated the monarch and the entire people of Igede-Ekiti for counting him worthy of the award as he promised never to relent in uplifting the people.
In the entourage of the award recipient, Bamidele Omotoyinbo at the occasion were his father, family members and Yemi Oshe Foundation crew including several other well wishers.
