The General Overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Onitsha, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje — has sparked fresh controversy with a declaration about his life and ministry.
Speaking during a church service, Odumeje said his time on earth is short and that when his journey ends, his body will never be seen.
“I’m the strongest spiritual man in the world after the general, Emmanuel TB Joshua. We are not many — just two. One has finished his assignment and returned home. Remaining is the Lion Himself, the dead man. I don’t have much time to spend here. Nobody will see my corpse,” he said.
He explained that his mission was never about longevity but about fulfilling a divine mandate centred on the supremacy of Jesus Christ.
“Our mission is to clear your doubt about Jesus Christ. Our mission is one God and one power, and that man is Jesus Christ,” he added.
Odumeje, famed for his unorthodox preaching style, has long divided opinion. His dramatic demonstrations on the pulpit, unusual prophecies, and eccentric catchphrases such as “liquid metal,” “the war,” and “indaboski bahose” have earned him both devoted followers and fierce critics.
