
The National Orientation Agency, Ekiti State Directorate will on Tuesday 2nd Sept, commence a two weeks enlightenment campaign .
The programme, anchored on five critical thematic areas is designed to deepen citizens awareness, strengthen trust in govt and promote national unity.
Dr.Olukemi Afolayan,a National Director in charge of Civic, Values & Democracy Education will be representing the Director General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu to enlighten Ekiti people on: “Values Re-orientation for Secondary and Tertiary institutions Students on Sign out Extreme Practices”
-Campaign on Flood Mitigation
-Enlightenment on Govt policies, Programs and Activities
-Nigeria Identity Project & National Symbols, and National Security Awareness Campaigns
Stakeholders that have already been contacted for a scheduled meeting for Thursday 4th Sept, 2025 at Ileraloro Multipurpose hall, Secretariat road are expected to be seated by 10:00am.
Statement by the Head, Media and Communication, NOA Ekiti State, Ronke Afebioye -Samo says that, the National Director, Dr Olukemi Afolayan will be having Media Chats, Press Conference and Advocacy visits to some Kabiyesis, Community and Religious leaders as part of the programme.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Director of NOA, Mrs Oluwakemi Akomolede will lead members of Staff on a road walk to create awareness for the programme on Tuesday 2nd Sept by 7:00am in Ado Ekiti.
