NNPCL Reduces Fuel Price to N910 Per Litre

The N25 price cut is part of an ongoing price war in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, spurred by Dangote Refinery’s ex-depot price slash to N835 per litre.

Dangote’s partners, including MRS, AP, Heyden, Optima, Hyde, and Techno Oil, have since adjusted their pump prices to between N890 and N920, prompting NNPCL and other marketers to follow suit.

The latest price shift has led to increased traffic at NNPCL stations, as motorists seek cheaper fuel options amid a volatile pricing environment where independent marketers still charge N930–N950 per litre in many locations.

This marks the second reduction by NNPCL in two weeks, following an earlier drop to N935 on April 20, 2025.
