The Naira yesterday appreciated to N1,615 per dollar at the parallel market, improving from N1,620 per dollar recorded on Tuesday.
A similar trend was observed at the official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), where the Naira strengthened to N1,583 per dollar, from N1,588.5 per dollar previously.
According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Naira recorded a gain of N5.5 at the official window.
As a result of these movements, the gap between the official and parallel market exchange rates widened slightly to N32 per dollar, up from N31.5 on Tuesday.
