The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has advised the new graduates of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo to put into full use the knowledge they have acquired while studying in the University.

The President’s wife, ably represented by a prominent politician and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), gave the advice when conferred with honorary doctorate degree on Friday during the 35th convocation ceremony and 61st anniversary of the Institution.
While thanking the Management and Members of the Governing Council of the University for the honour, Engr. Kayode Ojo, charged the graduands not to forget the institution that moulded them to be a graduate. “As you continue to progress, remember that you must put in your plan to give back to this great institution”.

The Ekiti born politician assured the Management of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo of the renewed Presidential support for the University saying that the University will be incorporated and carried along in the renewed hope agenda of Mr President.
At the event, over 12,000 students were conferred with different awards with 51 students having First Class, 3,090 with Second Class Upper, 6,805 Second Class Lower, 2,087 with Third Class while 154 got Pass.
The UNN Governing Council Chairman, Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo, assured that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration was committed to improve the quality of the educational system in the Country.

The awardees include; the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Kiladejo, and Toyin Falola, a Professor of African Studies, University of Texas at Austin, U.S.
