The Local Governments Staff in Ekiti State have all come together under the aegis of BAO Anchors in the local government service, to throw their weights behind the incubent governor of the State, His Excellency, Dr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for the second term in office.
Speaking at an event held on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital, Chieftain of BAO Anchors in the local government service, Mr. Sesan Aina, pledged that the local governments in the State would be at the forefront in the crusade for the second term in office of the amiable Governor, Oyebanji.
Adding that the decision premised on the fact that the governor has done a lot for the local government staff saying, “indeed, our staff had been dreaming for long but the governor has translated our dreams to reality”.
Appreciating the dignitaries and every other person in attendance at the occasion, particularly the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abibat Adubiaro, who Mr. Sesan Aina described as mother to all the local government workers, and the progressive father in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, High Chief Jide Awe, as well as the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission.
The Chief of the BAO Anchors in the local government service, Sesan Aina commended them all and specially appreciated the Chairman of LGSC, Chief Abejide, for keeping the engine of progress rolling in the local government service as he was described as a shining light, beaming on all and sundry.
All the staff of LG in the State were equally commended for their steadfastness and total commitment to support BAO for the second term.
