In a statement issued Friday, NSGF Chairman and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, described the attack as a gross violation of human rights, stressing that extrajudicial violence is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms.

“We are deeply disturbed by the loss of innocent lives and the horrific manner in which these individuals were attacked. This appalling act undermines the rule of law and the very fabric of our society.”

Call for Immediate Action

Governor Yahaya urged relevant authorities to conduct a full and thorough investigation, emphasizing that the perpetrators must be identified, arrested, and swiftly brought to justice.

He reaffirmed that all Nigerians have the right to travel freely and safely across the country without fear of harassment, violence, or intimidation.

Governor Yahaya stressed that ensuring justice and maintaining national unity must be a priority for all stakeholders.
