Indigenous Firm Donates Rams For Sallah Celebration In Sokoto

An indigenous firm, Erisco Foods, has donated two rams for Eid-el-Kabir sacrifice to needy persons in Sokoto State.

The donation which came through the firm’s branch Manager, Mr Isah Ezekiel, was handed over to the Sokoto State Zakkat and Endowment Commission on Sunday.

Receiving the support, Malam Muhammad Maidoki, the Executive Chairman of the commission, appreciated the firm’s sustained commitment towards making the needy happy at all times.

“This gesture has become a tradition by Erisco Foods Ltd that every festive season, it identifies with and supports the needy in our state.

“As usual, I want to assure you that the message will be extended to those it is meant for,” he said.

Maidoki appreciated Dr Eric Umeofia, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ericson Foods Ltd, and his management team for always helping the needy in the society.
