Iludun Community High School has expressed profound appreciation to renowned philanthropist and community leader, Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi, for his generous support to education through the IRAWO OWURO FOUNDATION.
The school commended Otunba Owolabi for awarding scholarships to five deserving students of the institution. It described the gesture as timely and impactful in promoting academic excellence and easing the financial burden on parents.
In addition to the scholarships, the foundation also presented a motivational gift to the school’s best-performing teacher. The management said the recognition would further inspire dedication, commitment, and improved performance among teaching staff.
Speaking on behalf of the school, the management described the initiative as a strong investment in the future of young people.
“Such acts of generosity play a vital role in shaping a better society by encouraging learning, rewarding excellence, and motivating educators,” the statement said.
Recall that barely three weeks ago, Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi extended similar support to other schools across Ekiti North Senatorial District. Ten secondary schools, two from each Local Government Area, were selected for the scholarship programme.
The IRAWO OWURO FOUNDATION initiative has since received widespread commendation for its commitment to educational development, youth empowerment, and the promotion of excellence across the district.
