IFC WOMEN’S LEAGUE: N3M Cash Prizes Up For Grab

The best four teams of the forthcoming maiden edition of  Ibadan Football Council (IFC) Female League will have N295,000 naira to go home with at the end of the.tournament.

Overall champion of the Competition which is the first of its kind in South Western Nigeria will go home with #150,000 while the first, second and fourth place winners will be awarded #75,000,#50,000 and #20,000 naira respectively for their efforts.

The chairman of the foremost soccer ruling body, Mogaji Rotimi Alli disclosed this in a chat with IFC Media at Olubadan Stadium. 

He stated that the Council was ready to provide an enabling environment where Female youths would be engaged to showcase their talents to the world.

He explained that gone were the days when talents from Oyo State would migrate to other States of the Country for greener pastures and  dearth of quality Competitions, stressing that his Council would provide the wings on which the Female players would soar.

Alli noted that the Cash prizes he announced were just the beginning, as it would still get bigger and better.

Libero, as he’s fondly called by the admirers affirmed that Female League was his Council’s priority for now, and the Council was ready to do its best to make Ibadan the scouting ground for budding female soccer stars.

Ten teams from across the Local Governments in  Ibadan land registered to take part in the League according to Folorunsho Oyelakin, the Secretary General of IFC.
