How My Father, Mother Killed Each Other At Home — 13-Year-Old Son

Their bodies were discovered in a pool of blood on Tuesday at their residence, where they lived with their four children.

According to reports, the late wife often accused her husband, identified as Caleb, a policeman, of infidelity. Sources said deep machete wounds were found on their bodies, suggesting a violent struggle.

In a viral video shared on Instagram by Daodu Sammy Gbenga, a 13-year-old boy, said to be one of their children, narrated the tragic events. He revealed that there was no visible conflict between his parents earlier in the night.

“Before my daddy died, he said he would tell me his story. But whenever my mum came home, he became afraid,” the boy recalled.

He explained that his father returned home around 9 p.m. but refused to eat until his wife arrived. The couple played, laughed, and prayed with the family before heading to bed, giving no sign of an impending tragedy.

However, in the middle of the night, the boy was woken by the sound of a cutlass. “I quickly woke my sister up, and we tried to enter their room, but the door was locked. My sister ran outside, picked up a stone, and hit the door, but it didn’t open. We could still hear them screaming,” he recounted.

The children ran to a neighbor’s house for help. By the time they returned, there was silence. “The boys forced the door open, and we found our parents covered in blood. They were rushed to the hospital,” he added.

A resident, speaking on the incident, suggested the woman might have cut off the man’s private part, leading to a deadly retaliation. However, details remain unclear.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, stated that an investigation is ongoing.
