
The esteemed representative of Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1 at the green chamber, Honourable Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), recently hosted a crucial meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ise/Orun Ekiti.
The meeting which was held in preparation for the forthcoming gubernatorial primary election, centred on on mobilizing party members and strategizing for the electoral process.
In his opening remarks, the APC Chairman in Ise-Orun, Hon Isaac Idowu JP, charged party members to remain steadfast and focused as they prepare for the upcoming party primary. He used the occasion to appreciate the performing Governor, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and acknowledged the efforts of Hon Ojuawo as their leader in Ise/Orun.
The chairman emphasized the party’s strong position at the federal, state, and local government levels as he welcomed everyone to the meeting.
On his part, Hon. Femi Ajayi commended the party faithful for their turnout, describing it as a good development for the party. He expressed confidence that the election would be a walkover for APC in Ise/Orun, attributing the party’s success to the leadership of Senator Dayo Adeyeye , Hon Ojuawo, and the Governor’s numerous project.
He urged the party members to work together and support the Governor’s re-election bid.
Remarking, Hon. Ojuawo thanked party leaders and members for their loyalty and commitment to the party. He admonished members to remain faithful, assuring them that their time has come.
The honourable member emphasized the collective responsibility of returning the Governor to office for a second term and encouraged party members to work together towards achieving this goal.
The meeting was marked by enthusiasm and camaraderie, with party faithful dancing to music in support of the Governor’s re-election bid. Cash awards were presented to wards with the highest number of attendees, further boosting morale and motivation among party members.
The constituency meeting in Ise/Orun demonstrated the APC’s strength and unity in the area, with party members showing their commitment to the Governor’s re-election bid. With the leadership of Hon Ojuawo and the support of party faithful, the APC is poised for success in the forthcoming elections.
