
Hon. (AVM Rtd) Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo, the Honourable Member representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, has hosted his annual Iftar with the Muslim community in Ise/Orun Local Government Area.
The event, which brought together Muslim faithful, community leaders, and clerics, aimed to promote unity, religious tolerance, and inclusiveness within the constituency. Sheikh Ayolo Usman Bakare, Vice President of the League of Imams and Alfas in Ekiti State, led the Muslim delegation.
Ojuawo expressed appreciation for the community’s prayers and support, urging them to continue praying for peace, unity, and development in Ise/Orun, Ekiti State, and Nigeria.
The Muslim leaders encouraged Ojuawo to run for re-election, citing his developmental strides in the constituency. The Chief Imam, Sheikh Ayolo Usman Bakare, commended Ojuawo’s commitment to fostering unity and development.
The event featured prayers for Ojuawo’s success, leadership, and guidance, as well as for peace, unity, and prosperity in Ise/Orun and Ekiti State.
