Ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), has donated three branded buses to support the re-election campaign of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his Deputy within his constituency.
The vehicles were officially presented to the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Chief Monisade Afuye, on Sunday by Hon. Ojuawo’s Senior Legislative Assistant, Hon. Ganiyu Olaotan.
“My boss, Hon Ojuawo, generously contributed these to the campaign efforts aimed at re-electing BAO/MCA for a second term in our constituency, covering Ikere, Ise/Orun, and Ekiti South West’.
Chief Afuye expressed her deep appreciation for Hon. Ojuawo’s thoughtful donation, acknowledging his genuine concern for the state’s progress.
“I sincerely thank Hon. Ojuawo for this timely gesture, which will greatly ease the movement of our people at the grassroots level. On behalf of my hardworking and high-performing boss, Governor Oyebanji, I extend our heartfelt thanks to Hon. Ojuawo for this wonderful contribution.’
She further offered her prayers for the success of every member of Governor Oyebanji-led administration, wishing them all the best in their endeavours.
