Gov. Oyebanji Approves  Appointment of New  Tutor-General for Ekiti Central District

A statement from the office of the Chairman, Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs Rhoda Ojo, made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, said Aladesanmi’s 

appointment followed the voluntary retirement of the Tutor General (Central), Mrs Adekemi Olukuwade, who bowed out of the teaching service after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.

Until her appointment,  Mrs  Aladesanmi  was the Principal of Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School, ADICO, Aramoko-Ekiti.

The newly appointed Tutor General, is an experienced teacher and seasoned administrator who worked as Class Teacher, Head of Department, Vice Principal and Principal across the length and breadth of the state.

Born on 12th June, 1965 at Efon Alaaye, Mrs Aladesanmi attended St Stephen’s Primary School and C.A.C. Grammar School, both in Efon Alaaye, for her primary and secondary education.

In pursuit of further studies, Aladesanmi attended the famous Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, an affiliate of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, where she bagged her Bachelor of Arts (Education) degree in English in 1989.

 She was employed into the service of the defunct Ondo State Teaching Service on 22nd October, 1990.

Aladesanmi rose through the ranks to the position of School Principal in 2014, a position she held till her present appointment.

Mrs Aladesanmi was formerly the Zonal Coordinator of All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools ANCOPSS, Ekiti West.

She has also  won many laurels for her outstanding performance  during her career progression, among which are:  Outstanding Performance as Principal, by the Old Students Association of (ADICO) in 2020; Excellent Leadership Award by Aramoko Development Association,(ADA) in 2022 and the 2024 prestigious Best Administrator Award presented by the Ekiti State Government at the World Teachers Day held in Ado Ekiti.
