Full List: Tinubu Inaugurates NNPCL Board

The inauguration took place on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, just before the President proceeded to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit held at the Banquet Hall.

This development comes seven weeks after President Tinubu approved the appointments, which effectively marked the end of Mele Kyari’s tenure as Group Chief Executive Officer of the state-owned oil company.

The newly inaugurated board members include Adedapo Segun; Bello Rabiu representing the North West; Yusuf Usman, North East; and Babs Omotowa, a former Managing Director of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), who represents the North Central.

Others are Austin Avuru, serving as non-executive director for the South-South; David Ige for the South-West; and Henry Obih for the South-East.

Also on the board are Mrs. Lydia Jafiya, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, representing the ministry, and Aminu Ahmed, representing the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.

All appointments officially took effect from April 2, 2025.
