FULL LIST: President Tinubu Makes 70 New Appointments

The request was read on the Senate floor during Thursday’s plenary session by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

For the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), President Tinubu nominated Cosmas T. Akyhir from Benue State as Chairman, and Tsenyil Cyril Yiltsen from Plateau State as Managing Director.

Other nominees for executive roles include:

James Abel Uloko (Executive Director, Benue),

Princess Atika Ajanah (Executive Director Projects, Kogi),

Hajia Bilgis Jumoke Sanni (Executive Director, Kwara),

Hajia Aishatu Rujui Ibrahim (Executive Director, Nasarawa), and

Muhammad Bashar (Executive Director, Niger).

The proposed board members representing various states and regions include:

Dauda Shuaibu Kigbu (Nasarawa),

Zakari Haliru Jikantoro (Niger),

Alhaji Sulaiman Buka Ali (Kogi),

Rev. Bunmi Olusona (Kwara),

Dr. Umar Ibrahim Mantu (Plateau),

Solomon Adodo (FCT),

Abdulkadir S. Usman (North-West),

Habu Maman (North-East),

Dr. Atinuke Owolabi (South-West),

For the South-West Development Commission (SWDC), former Ekiti senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi was nominated as Chairman, while Charles Akinola was listed as Managing Director.

For the South-South Development Commission (SSDC), former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche from Rivers State, was nominated as Chairman. Usoro Offiong Akpabio from Akwa Ibom State was named Managing Director.
