First Lady Tinubu Visited Saraki Family Over Ojora’s Death

According to Saraki, the visit came as the family continues to receive sympathisers mourning the late patriarch, with the First Lady offering prayers and words of comfort during the difficult period.

He noted that the gesture was a show of solidarity, adding that the family deeply appreciated the compassion extended at a time of grief.

The former Senate President also thanked friends, associates, and well-wishers who had reached out through visits, prayers, and messages, describing the collective support as encouraging.

Saraki stated that the goodwill had particularly comforted his mother-in-law, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, his wife Toyin Saraki, and other relatives as they continue to mourn.

Family representatives earlier announced that the Lagos businessman and respected traditional figure died on January 28, 2026, at the age of 93.

A statement issued by Toyin Saraki said the late Ojora passed in submission to divine will and urged the public to remember him in prayers.

Islamic burial rites were conducted the following day in Lagos, attended by clerics, dignitaries, and family members who gathered to honour his memory.

An eighth-day Fidau prayer and reception later drew prominent personalities, reflecting the late patriarch’s wide influence and legacy.
