Fani-Kayode Warns Trump Against Emulating Biden’s Support For ‘Evil’ Israel

In a three-page opinion piece titled “A History of Zionist Atrocities” published in The Nation, Fani-Kayode criticized America’s unwavering support for Israel, claiming it undermines global peace and stability.

He argued that Biden’s administration had exacerbated international tensions through its “blind support” for Israel, describing America under Biden as “a gangrenous, stinking sore” that challenges world peace.

Fani-Kayode warned Trump to abandon what he described as a “fatal attraction” that many American leaders have toward Israel.

“If Trump truly seeks to restore America’s credibility, he must distance himself from the citadel of evil and enclave of genocide called Israel,” he wrote.

Expressing skepticism about Trump’s prospects, Fani-Kayode noted his concerns over the President’s cabinet choices, which include figures he described as “pro-Israeli hawks and warmongers.”

He cautioned that failure to chart a different course could lead to Trump’s downfall, similar to what he termed as Biden’s “ignoble end.”

The former minister also criticized America’s global influence, asserting that its policies have alienated nations in the global south. He attributed the rising appeal of China, Russia, and the BRICS bloc to America’s perceived moral decline and support for Israel, which he referred to as a “monster child.”

“America has lost its decency and noble values,” Fani-Kayode wrote, accusing its leaders of enabling genocide and treating allies like the UK and NATO as “pitiful puppets.”

He concluded by praising China and Russia for offering hope to the global south, suggesting that they represent a better path for humanity in contrast to America’s perceived failures.
