Ewi Commends Senate Leader for Donating Coaster Bus to His Traditional Council

The monarch said the gesture, which he branded as heartwarming, would enhance the mobility of his council and more comfort for its operations.

Oba Adejugbe gave the commendations, during a prayer session, held at his palace in Ado Ekiti, on Monday, to formally unveil the vehicle.

During the prayer session, the monarch appreciated God for giving them a leader like Senator Bamidele, who believed in giving back to his constituents, which he said the gesture aptly represented.

“We appreciate God Almighty and Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who is representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District for this donation. We are happy that this was happening during our reign.

“I pray for divine guidance for him in his political journey. As he has done this, God Almighty will give him power to do more for this town and humanity in general”.

Speaking after the programme, Senator Bamidele, applauded the monarch, chiefs and Ado Ekiti residents for the enormous backing they displayed for his political career.

The Senate Leader, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Gbenga Banji, added that he will neither forget, nor take for granted, the solid support Ado Ekiti indigenes and other residents accorded him in the last two senatorial elections he won in a landslide fashion.

Senator Bamidele pledged that he would continue to maintain strong fidelity to his electioneering promises and do more to enhance democracy dividends that are trickling down to the grassroots.

“As representative of the people, I will continue to play effective and complementary roles to what our progressive Governor , Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is offering at the homebase- Ekiti State.

“I am pleased with his developmental strides and the support he has been receiving from our traditional rulers, especially our respected Kabiyesi, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe for improved peace and security in all our towns.

“Let me assure you that I will continue to give back to our people. I won’t be weary in my passion and desire to work with Governor Oyebanji and other stakeholders to attract more federal presence to Ekiti and promote the unity that our homogeneity truly represents”.
