The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, Professor Kayode Olabanji has commended the workers in the hospital for their dedication, commitment and forthrightness on this year’s May Day.
In his goodwill message to the workers, the CMD noted that the importance of health workers to a healthy society cannot be underestimated.
He added that EKSUTH workers have been contributing in no small measure to the well-being of Ekiti people and its environ.
The CMD, charged the workers to continue to show greater professional diligence, support and empathy to the people while discharging their duties
In a release made available to Journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the Head, Corporate Affairs of the Hospital, Rolake Adewumi, Professor Olabanji opined that the present Administration in Ekiti State under the leadership of Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has done so much for the health sector to ensure good health for everyone.
The EKSUTH boss therefore called on all citizens to pay attention to their health, to make themselves available for regular health status evaluation, saying facilities are available in the Hospital for all kinds of medical examinations.
He however, added that if people should ill inevitably, that they should report at the nearest Health facility for timely treatment before it is too late.
