The Management of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s efforts aimed at continuing transformation of the Hospital.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Professor Kayode Olabanji gave the commendation while on his usual wards round of the Hospital.
He was particularly impressed with the provision of new ultra modern equipments meant to enhance the service of the Dental centre.
According to him, the equipment includes new Dental Chairs with cameras to improve Ekiti people’s oral hygiene.
Statement by the Head, Corporate Affairs Department, Rolake Adewumi says, the CMD therefore urged all members of staff to be more dedicated and hardworking in order to justify the huge investments of the State Government in the Teaching Hospital.
In the same vein, the CMD advised Ekiti people to make regular Medical check up a priority by availing themselves of the opportunity to visit the centre to ensure healthy oral hygiene.
Also, Professor Olabanji noted that the Medical checkup for the members of House of Assembly and Civil Servants is still ongoing at the Adunni Olayinka Wellness Centre in the Hospital.
The EKSUTH boss therefore said it is very important to undergo the regular medical checkup, because health is wealth.
