EKSU: Management Disclaims Agboola Seun Stephen, Says He’s Unknown

The Management of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti has disclaimed a trending online news linking one Agboola Seun Stephen to some officials of the university.

Statement by the Head, Directorate of Information and  Corporate Affairs, Mr. Bode Olofinmuagun, says the online report has it that, Agboola was apprehended by the Police for engaging in theft by deception, passport racketeering and threats to lives. 

The suspect (Agboola) was alleged to be exploiting the names of Dr Ola Abegunde, Professor Femi Omotoso and that of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun in his nefarious activities to swindle unsuspecting victims.

“Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti wishes to clarify that Agboola Seun is not on the university’s  payroll and has no relationship with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun. 

“Also, the university has not received any complaint from any of its students about any infraction of such as raised by the suspect.

“It should be noted that the current Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Edward Olanipekun has zero tolerance for any act of malfeasance and will continue to uphold the integrity of the university”.

The security personnel are therefore enjoined to ensure that justice is served accordingly.
