In a decisive move, he approved the full sponsorship of Flourish’s trip and her teacher to the upcoming competition in Kampala, emphasizing that his commitment to education and human capital development is beyond rhetorics.
The Governor’s tangible efforts to reshape the education sector are evident in recent initiatives, including the recruitment of nearly 2,000 teachers, classroom renovations, enhanced teacher welfare, and the full payment of counterpart funds for SUBEB and UBEC. Collaborations with development partners such as the World Bank and UNiCEF.
