In line with Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s Six-Point Development Agenda, youths were empowered through a digital skills training programme.
The two-week intensive training, facilitated by Hon. Ayodeji Adegbite (Ado-Ekiti Constituency 1) and organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), equipped 80 youths (male and female) from all 16 LGAs with skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Analysis, and Data Visualization.
Adegbite noted these skills drive innovation, job creation, and economic growth, aligning with the state’s vision for human capital and shared prosperity.
Participants received laptops for continued learning. Beneficiaries will catalyse digital innovation in their communities.
Adegbite’s initiative reaffirms his commitment to youth empowerment and tech-driven development. “The AI revolution in Ekiti has begun,” he declared.
