Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi, Senate Aspirant for Ekiti North Senatorial District, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on being conferred as Leadership Newspaper’s Governor of the Year 2025.
In a statement, Owolabi described the recognition as a well-deserved honor for a transformative leader, citing Governor Oyebanji’s people-centered leadership and commitment to shared prosperity in Ekiti State.
“Since assuming office on October 16, 2022, you have diligently implemented your six-pillar development blueprint, with measurable and impactful results across education, healthcare, infrastructure, digital economy, tourism, and youth and women empowerment,” Owolabi said.
The Senate Aspirant highlighted the achievements of Governor Oyebanji’s administration, including Ekiti’s top ranking in the BudgIT State Fiscal Transparency League, reductions in mortality rates, improved safety profile, and progress in tackling out-of-school children.
Owolabi urged the people of Ekiti State to renew Governor Oyebanji’s mandate for a second term, citing the need for continuity to sustain the remarkable progress being made.
“One good turn indeed deserves another, and continuity will ensure that the remarkable progress we are witnessing is sustained and expanded for generations to come,” he said.
