Ekiti Partners NGO For Developmental Goals

The Ekiti State government will continue to embrace partnerships with organizations in demonstration of its commitment to enhancing development.

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. ‘Peju Babafemi asserted this in Ado Ekiti during an event where the Ministry received a donation of children’s recreational equipment.

While receiving the Outdoor Gymnasium Equipment for children donated by the Triumphant Redeemers Ministry, a non-profit organization which was founded by an Ekiti indigene based in the United States of America, Mrs. Babafemi expressed gratitude to the organisation on behalf of the Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

She added that the equipment will contribute to the well-being of children, especially those in the crèche of the Ministry where the equipment will be used.

A release from the Director of Press,Office of the State Head of Service, Mr Femi Bamisaye says Mrs Babafemi expressed the administration’s appreciation for Organizations like The Triumphant Redeemers Ministry, which align themselves with the Governance Agenda of the Administration.

Mrs. Babafemi used the occasion to call on individuals and organizations to emulate the Triumphant Redeemers Ministry by joining hands with the State Government in its developmental efforts.

She emphasized that the responsibility for development should not rest solely on the government’s shoulders and advocated for a collaborative approach to achieving rapid socio-economic transformation in Ekiti State.

Earlier, the Director of The Triumphant Redeemers Ministry, Mrs. Lola Alade-Makinde shared the organization’s vision which articulated a strong desire to partner with the Ekiti State Government to drive development through the empowerment of the people and provision of facilities for public use.

Alade-Makinde highlighted the organization’s readiness to collaborate with the government in its shared prosperity agenda by providing the necessary facilities and equipment for human capital development in Ekiti State.

She expressed the hope that the equipment would be used judiciously for the development of Ekiti children.
