Ekiti State branch of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), has welcomed a new boss following the retirement of the former Director, Mr Akin Adeyemi.
Statement made available to journalists by the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Comrade Ronke Samo in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital says, the handing over ceremony was performed in the presence of members of staff and other dignitaries that came to witness the glorious occasion.
In her acceptance speech after the handing over, the new acting director of the Agency, Mrs Oluwakemi Akomolede, praised her successor for his guidance and mentorship all the while and prayed God to bless him in future endeavours.
Mrs Funmilayo Oluwakemi Akomolede joined the services of National Orientation Agency in 1997, she rose through the ranks to becoming a deputy director in the Agency. She is an alumni of Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.
She had worked in many departments of the Agency including Planning Research and Statistics before becoming the Acting Director.
Oluwakemi Akomolede is married to Mr.Bunmi Akomolede from Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti Southwest Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
