The Senate Spokesperson and the Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District at the 10th National Assembly, Yemi Adaramodu, has commended the organizers of the 2024 Ekiti Day Celebration slated for 16th November, in Abuja for the initiative.
Adaramodu, gave the commendation recently in his office in Abuja while receiving the organizers of the epoch-making event, Amb Desmond Femi Agboola and Mr Kingsley Tolu Agboola, who went on a courtesy visit to solicit his support for the programme.
According to the organizers, the maiden edition of Abuja Day for Ekiti sons and daughters residing in Abuja aims to unite Ekiti indigenes in Abuja by celebrating the state’s unique cultural heritage and diversity.
Stressing that the event will feature a rich cultural display, including music, exhibitions and a panel discussion, as well as the prestigious Ekiti Heritage Award 2024 to honour outstanding sons and daughters of the state.
The event which was organized by Aso Multimedia, a reputable event management company in conjunction with Ekiti Committee of Friends, has its key objectives among others to include; promoting unity and development in Ekiti State, and fostering connections among indigenes in Abuja.
Considering the significance of the event scheduled to hold at Tobix Recreational Park, Abuja on November 16th at 3:00pm where the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji is expected to be Distinguished Guest of Honour, the organizers enjoin all Ekiti indigenes residing in Abuja to be part of the event which promises to fun-filled and memorable.
